Magen Toole lives in Fort Worth, Texas with two cats, two dogs and a turtle. Soon she will live in Austin with her girlfriend, where they will be granola-eating hipsters by day and literary super heroes by night. Until then, she is an author of horror, dark fiction, and other relative strangeness. She loves dinosaurs and black holes, and also watches a lot of Star Trek. When she grows up she wants to play the tambourine in a psychedelic revival band. You will likely find her watching bad television, loitering on Livejournal, and arguing the artist merits of Cartoon Network programming.
Her work has been featured in online and in print at various magazines and websites, such as Every Day Fiction, Fiction Circus, Every Day Weirdness, and The Battered Suitcase. Right now she’s working on the sequel to her first dark fiction/psychological horror novel Flesh Trap, and is fretfully plotting submissions for various upcoming horror anthologies. So watch this space.
